Unique Technical Services LLC ( www.utseng.com ) is developing technologies to support the production of low cost battery electric
vehicles (BEV’s) for urban city centers. UTS is based at Stony Brook University’s
Advanced Energy Center and is a StartUp NY Company. UTS recently spun off a manufacturing
division called Unique Electric Solutions Inc (UES) to manufacture BEV’s using this
innovative and cost effective propulsion system ( www.uesmfg.com ). Real-world field trials of this technology are scheduled to begin in the coming
months in lower Manhattan, with its inaugural customer UPS
